BECOME A MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AIDER
About 1 in 5 Australian adults experience a common mental illness each year, yet many Australians do not have a basic understanding of how to identify someone struggling with mental illness. Even when we do recognise our family, friends or co-workers struggling, many people are unsure how to best respond. Mental Health First Aid is an internationally recognised 2 day training program developed in Australia to improve mental health literacy across our community.
Rapha Health is a leading provider of the Standard Mental Health First Aid program. We deliver the program in public face-to-face community courses but also work with a range of businesses and church/faith communities to deliver ‘in-house’ programs. Dates for our upcoming community programs are below however if you would like to explore providing an in-house program for your organisation anywhere across Australia please feel free to contact us for further information.
